some fun pictures

Last week, my sisters and I went to the Dinosaur Museum up at Thanksgiving Point. We were planning on doing the gardens too, but it was so hot outside, Andrea and I decided to leave after the museum. Easton loved the dinosaurs.
The boys had a lot of fun with the sand display--there was water running through it and you can make dams and mountains with the sand.
I wish I had gotten a picture of Easton's full body with the apron on--the apron was all the was to the ground and he looked so small and funny.
Evidence that Keagan was there

Park City

My parents had their condo this weekend in Park City, so we all went up and spent a couple of days there. It was crowded, but fun.
My cousin Karen told me she does this with her nephew--fills a big tupperware bucket with water and dish soap and a couple of toys and lets her nephew play with it outside. I tried it in PC and Easton loved it! He was out in the yard for a couple of hours! The next morning, the first thing he asked for was his bubbles.
Then he figured out he could dip his head in and get wet...
......
.....soaking wet!
We took the kids swimming and this was Keagan's first time in a pool--she is not sure if she likes her swimming suit.

She did not like being in the cold pool! She was not whining in this picture, but she was whining until we took her out and wrapped her in her towel. Next year, maybe....
One of the problems, Easton kept splashing her, which he thought was hilarious, she did NOT....

Happy Birthday AMERICA!

Big holiday weekend...lots of family activities
Hot Air Balloons for the Freedom Festival--Easton eating a Krispy Kreme--yes, he is wearing snowman jammies in July....

Mrs. Rose

My friend, Audrey, got married this past weekend and here are some cute pics from the wedding. Parker was such a good sport while I reminisced with friends and he was my camera man when I wanted to be in the pictures.

Keagan Laughing

Parker and I can make fools of ourselves trying to make Keagan laugh--she is selective on what she thinks is funny from us--but Easton, doesn't really have to do anything and she cracks up! I love it. I am so glad I got this on the camera--usually by the time I get the camera, she is done! All Easton is doing is waving a little paper toy and she is loving it!

Busy Week!

Here are some pictures from our busy week last week--

My attempts at a Father's Day picture--hard with a 2 year old who doesn't want to cooperate....
Grandma's viewing--Laura, Shelley, Julie
Cemetery--Julie, Laura, Shelley, Andrea, Ashley
The funeral for Grandma was wonderful. The whole week was crazy, practicing for the song and everything--and I didn't even speak-two of my sisters had to prepare talks!! It is always great to get together with family and I am so glad that Shelley was able to come for the funeral--it had only been 3 weeks since we had seen her, but it seemed longer.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!

and to my mom! (We share a birthday!)
Not much has happened yet today--I think Parker and I are going to dinner with my parents to celebrate the double birthday tonight. So far, Parker woke me up with breakfast--he came in with french toast and OJ and gave me the remote and said when Easton gets up, he would feed him breakfast....how romantic!! (for those of you with a toddler--you know I am being TOTALLY serious) The kids weren't up yet, so without eating I went back to sleep!! Sorry, Parker, if the kids aren't up, neither am I! Don't worry, after the kids woke up, I ate--I am not going to pass up a breakfast in bed--no matter how tired I am!

So, my Grandma Sundberg passed away early yesterday morning. I took the kids over to her house on Sunday to say our goodbyes--she wasn't doing well. But, this is a celebration--she has missed Grandpa for 6 years and I think has been ready to join him for that long. It is still sad to think that she is gone, but my overwhelming feelings are of joy for her. She can finally be with her love again and see her two children that have already passed on. At a funeral once, one of the children of the woman was saying how her dad had to finish the castle in Heaven for her mom, that is why her mom had to wait so long after her dad had passed away to join him. I guess that is finally the case with Grandma and Grandpa. Grandpa was a perfectionist, and he finally finished Grandma's castle. She was a remarkable woman and she taught us all so much. She will be greatly missed.

This is the place!

Yesterday my sister, Laura, her boys, my mom and me and the kids went to This is the Place Park. It was quite cold when we got there, but it warmed up a little. The boys had so much fun and Keagan was loving just being outside! More pictures on the family blog. http://thesundbergs.blogspot.com
Easton was a little obsessed with this wooden train. He did NOT want to leave!

I think the wire beater was heavier than Easton!

The kids loved the petting zoo. Cayden and Mayson even took a little pony ride. Easton and Gage were a little too scared.

Lots of Firsts

Some fun and crazy things in the past few days--
*Easton went in his Elmo potty for the 1st time. He was VERY proud of himself.
*Keagan got her first tooth. Not the happiest of days for her. She got a runny nose and was very cross, but it is so cute--a little Chiclet tooth.
*Easton got his first fat, cut lip the other night. VERY traumatic for both me and him. It is starting to get better, but he keeps reminding me of his "boo-boo" and asks me to kiss it.
*Keagan is the rolling queen and I have to make sure none of the little toys are on the floor, or she will find them!
Easton's boo-boo. He bit his lip--on both sides, the out and inside.
Keagan--you can kind of see her tooth in this picture.
Our almost finished backyard-- in the upper right corner, I want to do a sandbox for the kids.
My sister, Laura just finished their backyard and had extra sod, so we got to use it!! THANKS LAURA AND DJ!! Their yard looks awesome--it is a LOT bigger than ours, but I am happy with our results!

Keagan--when she gets excited, she starts breathing fast--she does it in this video--it is so funny.
