Freedom Festival Balloons

Every year I take the kids bright and early to the Freedom Festival's balloon fest.  It has become our little summer tradition.  They love it.  Afterwards we go and get donuts.

every year I have to get a picture of the pig balloon.  it is my favorite

the coke balloon going up

until next year!

beach pictures

while we were in California, my mom wanted to get some pictures with her, my dad, and all the grandkids
um, they didn't work as well as she hoped.  lots of people, sunny beach, tempermental kids.....

I do love the granddaughter ones though.

before and after

Keagan was getting pretty shaggy, so my friend trimmed her hair up for me.
 Before
After.....a few days after, just after church.
Easton had to get in on the action.
love these two kids.

Father's Day

For Father's Day, Parker decided he wanted an ice cream cake, so we got him this one...
We thought it was pretty awesome.  A root-beer mug shaped ice cream cake.

Hmm...odd that I didn't get any pictures of the kids with him on Father's day...it was also my 30th birthday, so it was a weird day.  I don't love my birthdays, and add the fact that I was turning 30 and I just wanted it to be over.  :)

summer cuts

June requires a nice, cool summer cut for Easton.
Daddy did it in the driveway and Easton thought that was cool.

hmm...shall we keep it this way?
cute boy.

wahoo!!

my computer is FINALLY fixed....so be prepared for lots of posting--from like July.  oops.  :)

Oma and Opa visit

Oma and Opa came to visit in August for cousin Aidan's baptism.  They were only here for a few days, but we loved having them.  We went up the canyon one day and picnicked.
