So, Parker and I took the kids up to my parents condo in Park City this weekend. We just needed to get away for a few days. I stopped at a fast food joint in Heber for dinner for Easton and I (Parker drove separate), and early Sunday morning, I woke up with violent stomach problems! It has been YEARS since I have thrown up, but apparently my streak is over. Easton also had symptoms of food poisoning. It was miserable. But, luckily, it got out of our system quickly and we were fine today. I went shopping at the outlets with my mom and sister and we found some CUTE things at Motherhood for Laura (she is 5 months pregnant). It is quite fun maternity shopping when I don't have to try the clothes on and I don't have to pay for the clothes!
So, while us ladies were shopping, my dad took Easton and Laura's boys to the park and he called while we were out and asked me when we were going to be done. I asked him how the boys were and he said, "They were having a lot of fun, but then the Mexican kids came." What he meant by that was, the Boys and Girls Club meets at a building in the park and the majority of the members are of Latin descent and they were quite a bit older than our boys, so they weren't playing well. The way he said it--I had to give the phone to my mom, I was laughing to hard!!

Smile!
Some fun pictures from this week.

Sand Dunes
Last Saturday, my sister, Laura and her family were down at the Sand Dunes and they invited whoever wanted to drive the hour and a half to join them. My mom, sister Ashley, me and the kids went down. When we got there, the wind was blowing so hard, we had to stay in Laura's trailer! We were hoping the wind would die down so we could go 4wheeling, but alas, we sat there for a couple of hours and packed up and headed home. Ashley and my nephews went on the 4wheelers for a little while, but they came back with so much sand in their hair and eyes, I didn't want to brave it! We got some fun pictures though!

What?
So, the 2nd Counselor in our ward called a few weeks ago and wanted to meet with Parker and I. We were figuring it was a calling or something, because the Bishopric had just come to meet us a couple of weeks prior to that. So, we go and meet with the 2nd Counselor and last Sunday Parker and I were sustained as Webelos leaders. Now, when we were first asked if we would accept this calling, my first thought was, "What the heck is a Webelo?" --I didn't voice that aloud-- (A ten year old scout) Growing up in a family of all girls, I have had NO prior experience to scouting and frankly, don't enjoy the whole nature thing (I like to sleep in a BED)--but I am going to give it my all. Parker isn't exactly the most "scouty" person I know, but we know the calling came from prayer, so we are going in with (mostly) good feelings. Hopefully we won't ruin these poor little boys scouting experience with our lack of knowledge!! Wish us luck!

Loves
Feeding the ducks down at GG's. Easton was having SO much fun! I think the ducks gained a few pounds from Easton's contribution to them.

Spiritual upliftment
Conference was wonderful! Even with Easton climbing all over me, Keagan babbling, and Parker listening intently (snoring) it was wonderful. We are so blessed to have the gospel in our lives and to be able to hear the Prophet and the Apostles speak. We are also spoiled to be able to watch conference on TV, in our pajamas, while eating breakfast! I loved sustaining the Prophet (I did it everytime because I didn't know what they were doing) and I felt so blessed to be able to do so!

Doctor, Doctor
Did more blood work yesterday. The nurse called me this morning and said I am doing well. My billirubin is down to 2.6. So, we are getting there. For those of you who I haven't told, normal billirubin levels should be at 2.2. Liver failure is in the 20's and the highest I got was 12.7, so I was halfway there! CRAZY! All from Mono--stupid virus! But, things are looking up. I still have to get my blood drawn every week until the doctor feels okay about releasing me into the wild, but if I am getting better, then prick me all you want--well, okay maybe not all you want!
So, on Easter Sunday, Parker was talking to his sister on the phone and was telling her (I was eavesdropping--not really because he knew I was in the room with him!) how one day he was driving and he had to pull over because he started crying about me being sick. I didn't know he was that concerned--we were all concerned, but he always had on the strong, "You'll get better" attitude. I guess trying to make it easier for me. I just thought that story was sweet.

Double Trouble
So, I want to get a double stoller. I have no idea what to get, a side by side or a front to back . . . if anyone has any suggestions or comments, let me know!
Spring has sprung!
Yipee, spring is here! I am so glad! Especially since February was spent in the house, sick and yellow! On Monday, Easton, Keagan and I went for a walk with my mom, sister and nephew Max. My mom and Ashley were babysitting Max and then Andrea came and met us on our walk. It was so nice outside. Easton and I even got a little sunburned! I didn't even think about sunscreen--it is March! But, I should have known better-I am a redhead! Luckily, my mom thought about grabbing Keagan's little hat.

Let's go fly a kite, up to the highest heights!

Brunch with GG Sundberg
We had brunch at my Grandma Sundberg's assisted living center and the Easter Bunny came to take pictures with all the kids! Easton liked the Bunny from afar, but was kind of nervous when he was being held by the HUGE Easter bunny! Keagan, of course, was fine.

Checking out the Easter Bunny--still not sure about him. . . .
Easton and cousin Max. Max is almost 10 months old and was VERY nervous of the bunny, unless Easton was there with him.
The Easton Bunny is coming! (and his helper, Keagie)

Do I have to grow up?
So, Parker took my car in to get the oil changed today and my AC has been on the fritz, plus a brake light was out. So, they diagnosed the problem and is going to be a BIT more than just the cost of freon (what we were hoping). Who said growing up was fun? Sometimes I hate to be responsible and have to take care of things! Can't my mommy and daddy do it all still? Don't get me wrong, there are times when it is great to be an adult and are capable and responsible. Today I didn't feel like was one of those times! BLAH!!

Keagan's first solid meal!
Here is Keagan enjoying her first solid food! Yummy rice cereal! I gave Easton a taste and he thought it was "Cucky!" To be honest, it probably wasn't the best time to give it to her, she was sleepy and kind of ornery, but she is still cute with it!
Kiss me, I'm Irish--or at least married to one!
Happy St. Paddy's Day!! Being married to Parker (Irish heritage), I have to know it is St. Patrick's day, or I am in the dog house!! Yesterday we had corned beef and cabbage (sounds weird, but actually really good!) and today Lucky Charms for breakfast! Then the kids and I went to my sister Andrea's and did St. Patrick's Day cupcakes with all the sisters. Good Green Day!

Slowly, but surely. . .
Well, I went to the doctor yesterday and things are looking up. My billirubin is down to 5.7, last week it was up at 7 something. It peaked at 12.5, which they were nervous about, but it looks like I am going down. I don't have to go back to the doctor for 3 weeks!! Yipee! I have been going EVERY week, at least once a week for the past month. So, last week they sent my blood work to the expensive lab (my insurance better cover it!!) and they got the results back. They had been getting positives on 3 different viruses and were wondering if it was false positives. And it was. They got a positive on just one virus, the Epstein Barr virus (mono) and the rest were negative. The blood work also showed my body is starting to develop antibodies to the mono virus, so the doctor is hoping it won't be a problem in the future. So, that is the update on me!! Very good news!
