Here is some - fun idea..
I remember when we were both in high school - and early in the morning you would sneak into my room and try to grab some clothes....BUT the dresser handles would always rattle and give you away! Sometimes I would hear them rattle, but pretend I didn't, because I really didn't care that much.
I also remember when you and Parker got engaged. I was so excited you found someone that really cared about me as a sister. I think that was the turning point for me - when you became not only my sister, but one of my best friends (I have 3 other too).
My favorite memory is when you told me you were having Keagan - and how worried you were about how I would feel (even though it is crazy)! I remember getting off the phone and being so grateful for such a good sister.
Then of course - there is always CA in the summer of 2003! Driving down the Pacific Coast Highway - and starving to death while Dad drove. All of us turned into Dr. Jekyl! Then as soon as we got food (this is mom included) we turned back into our lovely selves again. I bet Dad remember that well!
Bridal showers, baby showers, family get togethers...I always look forward to these. I tease Jon that I get to be with his cousins more than he does since he's not a girl! Lucky me!
I don't even remember how old we were when you moved away, but I do remember being "pen pals". You'd moved, what, maybe 5 miles away? Oh, and not to worry, I still have that address memorized (even though I can barely remember my old address!) 1886... Yep. Random!
So, I was thinking about it and most my memories are short unless you go just a couple years back (you know...NEIGHBORS!) Anyway, as I was trying to pull something out of my muddled brain I remembered this...EFY 1995! I bet you forgot about that one!
Okay, I totally wasn't copying you with this post, but isn't it funny how the same posts go around? My memory of you is when you guys were looking for your townhome in Westgate. You were debating between two different ones, and you definitely ended up getting the nicer of the two! (And we bought the other!)
My memory of Parker has to do with Halo. He would come over and play Halo with Derrick and friends, and Parker was by far the loudest of them all. I would be in my bedroom 2 floors up and hear him yelling at 1 A.M. Don't worry, I thought it was pretty dang funny. I wonder what my neighbors thought, though!
